The whole price list, in sterling
Rugby has a habit of emptying wallets. Boots, subs, away travel, international tickets, the replica shirt you swore you would not buy this year. The last thing anyone needs is a confusing subscription. So here is every Rugby Lover UK plan in one table, in British pounds, with the renewal rules spelled out.
| Plan length | VIP | VIP Plus |
|---|---|---|
| 1 week | £14.99 | £15.99 |
| 1 month | £24.95 | £34.24 |
| 3 months | £59.95 | £77.01 |
| 6 months | £74.70 | £128.31 |
| 12 months | £119.88 | £208.05 |
These are the ten prices you will see when you choose a plan. All figures here are in sterling.
Which plans renew
Anything shorter than a year, whether a week, a month, a quarter or half a year, rolls over for another identical term, at an identical price, until you stop them. Twelve-month plans are different: they do not renew. When your year is up, the plan simply ends, and you can decide then whether to buy another.
That distinction matters for rugby people, whose interest in dating may rise and fall with the season. For anyone who would rather forget about rollovers altogether, the twelve-month options take the question away entirely.
VIP or VIP Plus?
Two paid tiers exist. VIP is the standard choice; VIP Plus sits a step above it. The features each one includes are set out next to each other on the checkout screen, so you can see exactly what you are buying before you pay. Choose whichever suits the way you like to use the site.
Picking a plan length around the season
There is no wrong choice, but here are a few ways rugby people tend to think about it:
- A single week suits someone who wants a look around before committing, or who has a gap between fixtures and fancies a burst of chatting.
- One month fits neatly into a quieter part of the calendar, such as the summer break, when Saturdays are suddenly empty.
- Three months covers most of a half-season, enough time to get to know someone properly without rushing.
- Six months spans a full club season from early autumn to the spring finals, including the international windows.
- Twelve months takes you right round the calendar, from pre-season to pre-season, and ends on its own.
Whatever you pick, the price shown is the price you pay for that length. Plans are shown as a single total for the whole length, so there is no maths to do.
Cancelling a renewing plan
Stopping a rolling plan is done inside your account, any time ahead of the next billing date. Once cancelled, it will not renew, and you keep access for the time you have already paid for. If you are unsure how to cancel, the help pages in your account walk you through it.
Paying from outside the UK
The site is built for rugby people in the UK and lists prices in pounds. If you are a British expat, a fan living near the border or a visitor planning to move here, you can still use it. Your bank may convert the payment into your own currency and may apply its own fees, so check with them if that matters to you.
What you are paying for
A subscription gives you access to the tools that make the site useful: the ability to read and send messages, see who is interested and use the search features to find rugby people near you. The details of what each tier includes are shown before you pay. The plans above are the whole price list; nothing extra sits behind them.
Value, rugby style
Think of a plan like a season ticket. It is not about any single match; it is about being in the right place often enough that something good happens. Some members of any dating site find a connection in their first week. Others take longer. Choosing a length that matches how much time you can give, rather than the cheapest option or the longest, is usually the smartest approach.
Comparing with the cost of a night out
It can help to put the figures in context. A single week of VIP at £14.99 is less than many people spend on a round of drinks after a home game. Six months of VIP at £74.70 covers a full club season. Twelve months of VIP Plus at £208.05 is the top of the range and runs from one pre-season to the next. Rugby people are used to weighing up what a season ticket, a replica shirt or an away trip is worth to them, and the same thinking applies here: pick the plan that matches how much you expect to use it.
Upgrading and switching
If you start on VIP and decide later that the extra features of VIP Plus would suit you better, you can choose a VIP Plus plan when your current one ends or when you are ready to change. Likewise, if a longer plan makes more sense after a few weeks of using the site, pick it next time. There is no penalty for trying a short plan first.
Receipts and records
Every payment is recorded in your account, so you can check what you bought, when it started and when it ends or renews. If a charge on your bank statement looks unfamiliar, check your account first; the description your bank shows may not match our site name exactly.
Who can buy a plan
Plans are for adults aged eighteen and over who want to use the site for genuine dating. Each plan belongs to one person and one profile. Sharing an account, or using one to promote anything, breaks the rules and can lead to the profile being closed.
A word on scams
We will never ask you to pay anyone outside the site, and nobody you meet here should ever receive cash from you, whatever the tale. Requests for help with tickets, travel or emergencies are classic warning signs. Our safety guide explains more.
If something goes wrong with a payment
If a payment fails or you see a charge you do not recognise, contact us through the details in the footer and include the date and amount. Your bank can also help if you believe a payment was taken in error.
Prices for adults only
Every plan is for adults aged 18 and over living anywhere they can legally use the site.
